May 2006 Email Update

Dear Praying Friends:

Five days after I got back from Honduras, I took the bus and headed North to Queretaro, Mexico (2 hours north of Mexico City, 4 hours north of Cuernavaca) to attend the annual Mexican Calvary Chapel conference April 13-15, 2006.

It was a very encouraging time spent with pastors, other missionaries and church leaders -- everyone working in different parts of Mexico.

One message that stands out is from one pastor working in Tijuana.  He shared about the pitfalls of ministry -- 3 areas where ministry workers often fall:  1) lana (money) 2) fama (fame) 3) dama (ladies/sexual temptations).

The Lord is doing wonderful things in Mexico but we (workers) are not immune to the constant attacks of the enemy.

Will you pray and ask God to protect our Mexican pastors, missionaries (including me) and church leaders from falling into the pitfalls of ministry?

Thank you for praying.
