Dear Friends:

"The God who made my eyes, surely He can provide two pieces of cornea for each of Martha's eyes..."

I lead and host a weekly women’s Bible study (in Spanish) in my apartment.  Last week one of the ladies brought her neighbor Martha.  We were in John 3 and learning how God sent his Son into the world to be a light to the world.  Interestingly, my neighbor also came that evening.  During our prayer time, Martha shared about her need for two corneal transplants.  She is 23 years old, with 2 kids, her husband needs a job and she is slowly losing her vision.  We laid hands on Martha that evening.  We prayed for God to do a miracle, provide the money for the operation and provide her husband with a job.

The next morning I cannot help but think of Mark 10 where the blind man cried to Jesus, "Son of David have mercy on me!"  Jesus restored this blind man's sight.  I thought..."Surely, the God who made my eyes and restored the blind man's sight can also give Martha two pieces of cornea one for the left eye and the other for the right..."

Will you pray with me for two pieces of cornea for Martha?

Thank you for your faithful love, prayers and support.
